With Heart and Soul: A Caprese Icon Reborn
Redesigning Anema e Core was more than a project; it was a homecoming. As a Caprese, I felt deeply connected to the venue, its story, and the Lembo family legacy. The goal: refresh the club while preserving its joyful energy and identity. We respected its soul and added new layers of vibrancy. From layout to finish, every choice aimed to elevate without changing its essence. At the reopening, the emotion was palpable. The most touching compliment? When the clients told me: “You truly created this with anema e core.” which literally means with soul and heart. A place of belonging, reborn with love
Designing the Atmosphere: From the Energy to the Experience
Anema e Core isn’t just a venue, it’s a feeling and pure magic for so many guests. My mission was to translate its legendary energy into design. We kept symbolic elements like the entrance staircase and flooring untouched, while subtly reworking the layout to enhance flow and function. We brought energy into every corner with lighting, perspective, and rhythm. Now, the club feels alive in every direction. The glowing “Anema E Core Capri” ceiling sign crowns the central arena like a beacon of identity, instantly iconic and endlessly photographed. A space you don’t just visit, a space where you live moments that will stay with you forever.
Handcrafted Identity: Details That Tell a Story
What makes a space truly unique? The details. For Anema e Core, we designed custom wall sconces in ribbed hand-forged iron, added soft warm lighting, and crafted every finish to feel authentic yet contemporary. One standout is the exclusive red small horns pattern custom designed for the VIP bathroom wallpaper and then used to create the silk shirts worn by Gianluigi and the staff. These touches of unique design and fashion bring an even stronger identity to the venue. Every element is tailored; every surface tells a story. It’s truly a crafted experience where every detail plays its part
The American Bar: A New Stage for Social Energy
A previously unused corner now draws every eye: the new American Bar is both a sculptural statement and a functional hub. Its modular surfaces in bronzed, antiqued brass form a dynamic geometric texture, paired with a black marble top and mirrored ceiling that expands space and light. This transformation turned a forgotten area into a vibrant focal point, elevated in every sense. Whether viewed from across the room or up close, it captures the refined spontaneity of Anema e Core’s spirit. A bar that served as a reinforcement to the existing one, but which also enchants and has become as dynamic and popular as the rest of the venue.
Moments, Memories, and Magic Corners
Beyond the music and lights, Anema e Core is filled with personal touches and meaningful spaces. The staircase walls used as a gallery to frame decades of memories. The restrooms surprise with bold color palettes: black and bronze for men, pink and gold for women. And hidden behind the main bar we designed a private room, a hidden speakeasy-style space that invites us to exclusive encounters. These aren’t just design ideas; indeed, these are emotional paths and spaces. Every guest becomes part of the story, one photo, dance, or toast at a time. This is where magic happens, where you get lost in the details you almost don’t expect
