Wonder‑Capri: A Dream‑like Dining Experience
Godò Capri is a journey into a Capri you never expected but instantly love. Inspired by the island’s less touristy side, the design explodes with vibrant ’70s‑’80s Pucci‑inspired patterns: seahorses, mermaids, bougainvillea, and our little Capra mascot. Covering the ceiling and walls, these fabrics create an immersive “Wonder‑Capri” atmosphere: elegant, surprising, and utterly unique. Here, every dinner, drink, or gathering feels like living in a caprese midsummer dream, sophisticated yet heartfelt. It’s a place to be completely present, indulge your senses, and rediscover the true spirit of Capri.
Joy by Design: The Essence of Godò
Godò means joy and every element was crafted to evoke it. With complete creative freedom from Massimo, Chef Marino, and Marco (the 3 owners), we shaped a space full of spontaneity and elegance. The long bar houses an aquarium‑like open kitchen and mixology scenario that acts as a theatrical backdrop. Two entrances, one from Via delle Botteghe and a second one from Via Sella Orta channel a playful flow of guests, heightening surprise and energy. What stands emerges from concept to reality: a dynamic, immersive restaurant where joy is deliberate, tangible, and unforgettable.
Acoustic Couture: Comfort Meets Chic
Godò’s challenge was intimacy in a compact, low‑ceiling space. Instead of bulky acoustic panels, we turned furniture into sound‑absorbing couture: upholstered seating, padded bar and kitchen fronts with soft curved fabric textures. Every sofa, chair, stool, and armchair was made with sponge and textile engineered to tame noise while amplifying comfort. This seamless integration supported our permanent DJ set, ensuring glossy sound without echoes. Guests relax, talk, and laugh effortlessly: acoustics don’t just work, they feel luxurious.
Custom‑Crafted Interiors: Every Piece Tells a Story
Every element in Godò is custom‑made, down to the smallest detail. We designed bespoke tables, seating, wallpapers, and fabrics, each crafted to reflect the dynamic elegance of the concept. The interior merges sophisticated patterns, tailored materials, and an immersive atmosphere where sipping a drink at the bar or dining at one of the bespoke tables and chairs means being part of the concept itself. It’s an environment where design isn’t just seen; it’s felt, lived, and remembered.
Moments that Matter: Dining, Drinking, Discovering
Godò isn’t just a restaurant, it’s where nights turn into experiences. Chef Marino Ramazio crafts dishes rooted in Caprese tradition, elevated through research and experimentation. Guests sip champagne and refined cocktails, relax under joyful décor, and savor intimate moments. Reviews rave and visits prove it: Godò is a destination for shared laughter, deep conversations, and vibrant nights. A year post‑opening, it’s already a “must‑go” in Capri.
