Capri 2019–2026

Moonlight, Soul of Capri

Hotel Luna is not just a destination, it’s a place of the soul. Overlooking the Faraglioni and nestled in a Mediterranean garden, it embodies the true spirit of Capri. Every design intervention was conceived to restore its original “Capresità,” shaped by arches, softness, and natural light. The restyling doesn’t distort, it reveals: it brings back the essence of the place, renewing it with elegance and sensitivity. Like the moon reflects the sun, architecture here reflects the soul of Capri.

The Slow Project

Restoring an iconic hotel like Luna takes time, respect, and vision. The project unfolds in yearly phases, aligning with the natural rhythm of the island. This choice, driven by Capri’s seasonality and logistical challenges, has become a strength: each intervention is deliberate, detailed, and part of a broader, cohesive design. Each year adds a quiet touch of beauty. This is how Hotel Luna evolves without ever losing itself.

Moon Bar: An Oasis of Light and Style

Carved from a space next to the hall, the Moon Bar is a small jewel of Capri elegance. Arches, curves, and brass details turn it into a space suspended between past and present. The color palette plays with moonlit tones, while the materials as glass, ceramics, fabrics and others evoke a refined, welcoming Capri. It’s more than a bar: it’s an invitation to pause and a prelude to the hotel’s full sensory experience.

Interiors that Tell a Place’s Story

The redesigned rooms are not just places to stay, they are indeed stories to live. Every element, from arches to headboards, from wallpaper textures to hand-painted Vietri tile floors, was crafted to evoke the genius loci. These interiors embrace guests with a warm and refined atmosphere that conveys Capri’s beauty even before they look out the window. Here, interior design becomes storytelling.

Tailored to Last, Designed to Belong

Every piece of furniture, every lamp, every detail at Hotel Luna was custom designed. Nothing is standard, nothing is accidental. Curved cabinets shaped like moon crescents, softly contoured nightstands, handcrafted glass and brass lighting, all contribute to a space that feels cohesive and unique. This is a design that endures, that speaks to the architecture, and becomes part of the place’s identity.
