The Quintessence of Capri Style
Lussi Capri is the manifesto of Francesco Della Femina’s tailored approach. The architect oversaw the entire concept, structural details, and interior design, translating island traditions into a high-end contemporary language. From materials to fabrics and custom wallpapers, every element was bespoke or handpicked, reflecting a deep cultural heritage. The result is a cohesive project with an unmistakable identity, blending the timeless charm of Caprese architecture with a sophisticated exclusivity designed for an excellent hospitality experience.
Geometric Pattern and Color Palettes
Geometries and Chromatic Harmonies
The project’s visual leitmotif stems from a refined rework of a traditional island graphic: a geometric interplay of squares and semicircles (a stylized four-leaf clover). Francesco Della Femina treats this motif as a musical score, deploying it with exceptional creative value across floors, fixtures, doors, and wrought-iron details. The designer’s mastery shines in the unique color stories of each suite, where white dialogues with Capri blue, Ischia green, and aquamarine. In the lobby, polished and matte whites create a clever play of textures.
Suites and Custom Yacht-like Layout
Masterful Layouts and Yacht-Inspired Design
Carving six exclusive suites out of two pre-existing, completely off-square buildings required extraordinary technical expertise. Francesco Della Femina overcame structural irregularities through masterfully tailored layouts and bespoke furniture, optimizing space with a millimetric precision that echoes high-end yacht design. The designer’s professionalism is also evident in the sea-viewless rooms: a richer, more luxurious interior design packed with scenic details grants each space a unique personality and strong market appeal.
The Scenographic Internal Staircase
The Dramatic Staircase: Form Overcoming Limits
An exceptional architectural exercise transforms structural complexity into pure stylistic potential. To bridge the staggered floor levels of the two original buildings, Francesco Della Femina designed a highly dramatic internal staircase, the very soul of the project. This multifaceted structure rises from steps carved into the bedrock, takes an organic shape in the lobby, and becomes a visual telescope lined with display niches. With a final sculptural twist, it reaches the panoramic rooftop deck—a masterpiece of functional design.
The Former Cistern and Outdoor Spaces
Relaxation Oasis Between Heritage and Modernity
Francesco Della Femina’s creative value extends to the communal and outdoor spaces, redefined in perfect harmony. On the lower level, an ancient cistern becomes a striking indoor plunge pool with a jacuzzi and waterfall, enriched by a custom groin vault and ceramic palladiana flooring that evokes an ancient nymphaeum. Outside, the lush garden features an oval pool in multi-tonal aquamarine mosaic and a cozy solarium. An oasis of absolute comfort celebrating bespoke craftsmanship and tailored well-being.
